JOURNEY
“Journey” is the story of modern India – a country with one of the oldest civilizations of the world, with a rather conservative social structure and values, with strong family ties and, at the same time, with one of the fastest growing young economies of the 21 century.
In lies the inherent conflict – conflict of social values, conflict of generations, and conflict of contrasting financial stature. The urban young generation is on the mad rush, not to miss out on the growing list of opportunities. They are career minded, focused, fast paced, independent and willing to experiment new ideas. And then there are the more conventional ones. This juxtaposition is what makes the social contrast so very interesting and engaging. “Journey” is a story of this conflict – of human relations – of human emotion that still supersedes the overwhelming materialism.
